Ruapehu, which left Capetown on Saturday last for Hobart and New Zealand, makes Wellington her first port of call, and she is due here on the 13th July. The R.M.S. Kaikoura left Plymouth yesterday for New Zealand. Her first port of call is Port Chalmers, and she is expected there on the 10th August. The Shaw. The steamer, which was constructed under the superintendence of Mr John Darling, resident director of the Union Steamship Company of New Zealand, was to be fitted with two sets of independent compound surface-condensing disconnecting engines to indicate 600 horsepower. The barque Himalaya was to leave London on the sth instant for Wellington. The Rappahannock, a ship recently built at Bath, Maine, is described by American papers as the largest wooden sailing vessel afloat.
