NEWS FROM THE ISLANDS.
(PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Auckland, Juoe24. The s.s. Wainui, whioh arrived to-day. reports everything quiet at the Islands. The Austrian frigate Tasmana called at Apia on a cruise, and left on 11th June for Sydney and Fiji. The German warship Alexandrine has left Samoa for Sydney and Germany. She wil be succeeded by the Speyer, now at Sydney.
