Instead of stringing them on to a wrought-iron axle as formerly, we now fit each one independently on a casting, giving it a 2-inch square seat. The consequence is that the AXLE WILL NEVER COT OR WEAR OUT, THE DISCS CANNOT POSSIBLY GET LOOSE, and the worst difficulty remaining in the way of making a perfect Disc Harrow has been completely overcome.
