WOOL SALES.
(per press association.) Dunedin, January 10. The wool sales were continued to-day, when there was a large attendance, including several New Zealand and foreign buyers who were not at the last sales. Bidding was fairly animated and prices well maintained. Well grown long stapled fine half-bred was keenly competed for, and prices were equal and in some cases in advance o' last sales. Medium showed very little change, but inferior was easier. Good competition resulted for tho finer class of merinos, and light in grease resulted in satisfactory prices. Coarse crossbred, Romney, and Leicester were not in much demand and low prices ruled. Bright, light half-bred, in grease, sold at lOd to 13d ; medium, 9d to lOd ; Leicester and coarse crossbred, 6id to 9d ; merino, well grown, lid to 13d ; medium, 9d to lid. The Kaihiku clip realised 13 Jd.
