DEATHS.
Herbert. —At Herbertville, on December 27tb, Mr Joseph Herbert, aged 75 years. Jonas. —On the 28th November, 1889. Hyam Jonas, Esq., of Westbourne terrace, Hyde Park, London, father of Mrs D. J. Nathan. Luke.—On the 7th January, at 216, Willisstreet, Ann, the beloved wife of Samuel Luke, sen., of the Te Aro Foundry (of this city), passed peacefully away, in her 61st year. A faithful wife, a devoted mother, and a true friend. Deeply lamented.
