Give the Baby Water.
Here i 3 a timely bit of advice : Do not forget to give baby (no matter bow young) a drink of water everj r now and then. Some mothers never think of doing this, and all the time the poor little thiug is actually suffering for the want of water. Just a few drops in a spoon will do at first. Nothing will satisfy a child until it gets it. Some years ago I heard of a case where a child was sick. The mother sent for the doctor. Ho came, and after examining it carefully said : ‘ The child is dying for tbe lack c£ water. Bring mo some and I will show ycu.» The result proved that he was right. AU the mother said was . ‘I didn’t know babies needed water.’ —Albany Express.
