(Received September 1,2, M. 50 a.m.) Londpn, September 11. The total quantity of wheat and flour afloat for the United Kingdom is 1/£BB,OOO quarters, and for the Continent 345,000 quarters. The American visible wheat supply is 14,125,000 bushels.

Disastrous floods have been experienced at Echuca town, situated on the peninsula formed by the Murray and Campaape rivers, 156 miles north, of Melbourne. Many persons have been rendered homeless and are living in tents pitched on high ground. Boats have been sent from Melbourne to. rescue residents from their unforttkujslo position.
