STOCK SALES. Christchukch, September 4. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company report (per Mr E. G. Staveley) as -follows At Addington yards to-day there were large supplies of stock. There were 8000 sheep ; mutton, 2d to 2£d ter lb; best wethers, 15s to 183 9d; mixed sexes, 13s to 16s 3d; ewes, 10s to 12s 6d ; merinos,, good, 12s; to 14s 9d-; medium, 7s fid to 103. .■ Bullocks, L 6 10s to L 8 10s ; cows, L 4 10s to L 8 ; beef, 16s to 19s per 1001 b.
