ARRIVAL OF R.M.S. COPTIC.

SCARLET FEVER ON BOARD. [per press association.] Dunedin, August 2S. The R.M S. Coptic, Captain Burton, from Plymouth, via the Cape aud Hobart, was berthed alongside thepierthia afternoon, but as there is a case of scarlet fever on board the pier was barricaded, and no communication is allowed, so that no passenger list is available. It appears that two deaths occurred on the voyage—one infant, and four days later its mother, .aged 26. The sickness is a case of relapsed scavletina, which is isolated. The hospital has been fumigated and the bedding destroyed, aud the passengers, who number 75, will be removed to the quarantine island.
