“CHANGE HERE FOR—”
The station-master in charge of one of the biggest railway junctions in this colony carries a Waterbnry watch, and despatches a great many trains daily by it. Its accuracy, he says, is unimpeachable, and there is not the least necessity for paying more than 13s 6d for a really reliable timekeeper. This is a fact, and if imitation be the sincerest form of flattery, the Waterbury watch is the most, flattered article in the world. Hosts of watches ‘ as good as it' (vide agents’ claims) have sprung up since its introduction, and thousands of them are now obtainable at from two to five shillings each. This is more than they are worth as ornaments, and as they will not keep time, and are too dear for ballasting steamers, their owners sometimes try to sell them as Waterburys. Don’t be deceived, however. The Waterbary has no equal at any price.
