SENIOR CUP. The Senior Cup match between the Wei lington and Poueke Clubs was cocoluded on Saturday, the former winning by an innings and 55 runs. With this victory the Weilington Club, having hasten all the other Clubs, win the Senior Cup for the third year in. succession, The Wellingtons, with seven wickets down for 170, resumed their first innings, which closed for 201. The match between the Midland second and Rival first elevens for the Junior Cup was commenced on Saturday last. The annual matches between the senior and junior teams of the above Departments were played on the Basin Reserve on Wednesday, the Property-tax Department proving victorious in both contests. The senior match was wen by 34 runs on the fir3t innings, and the junior by eight wickets and 5 runs. In the senior match the Property-tax team were the first to go to the wickets.
