GREYTOWN.

[By Telegraph.] {from our own correspondent. ) Greytown North. December 21. A representative of P. Hayman and Co., warned Hyams, met with a slight mishap today. Mr Farrell, of Carterton, was driving him to Martinborough, and when nearing that place the horse bolted at the top of a steep inclinb, jaat at the foot of the hill. A small strap broke, which caused the trap to swerve, and Farrell was thrown over a fence, landing on his head. A few yards further on the trap capsized, W'th Hyams underneath, but luckily he fell on soft ground, and escaped with a few bruises and a severe shaking. Farrell was not quite so iucky, as he struck a post of the fence and hurt hi 3 loft side slightly. The horse and trap escaped injury.
