The Mysterious Murders in London.

The body of the woman found at Whitehall was dismembered and much decomposed, and it is believed that the trunk is part of tho woman whose arms were recently found in the neighbourhood of Pimlico and Lambeth. , . London. October 7.
The East-end of the city is swarming with detectives, but they have not yet obtained any clue to the perpetrators of the recent murders. A bloodhound has been secured for the purpose of tracking the murderers. London, October 8. The evidence adduced at the inquest on the body of a woman found on the Thames Embankment shows that the remains are those of a remarkably fine woman, and was probably of a good social position. No friends appeared to claim the body. The police have no clue to the murder, the circumstances of which are similar to those in connection with the Whitechapel murders.
