Colonial Maladies.—The Colonists of New Zealand are to be congratulated on two grounds : First, that they iohabit a land where disease as a rule prevails in a mild and curable form, and, seoondly, because the majority have ready to hand a remedy that does away witU the doctor and the medicine chest. This important medicine was discovered by Mr Richard Freeman, in 1544, an I named by him Chlorodyne, which medicine continues to maintain its supremacy all over the World, end as a special curative remedy for the treatment and cure of Diarrhcea, Dysentery, Cholerine, Malaise, Hysteria, Pain of every kind, Nervous Affections, Gout, Asthma, Consumption, Coughs, Colds, and Fevers. Insist upon having ‘ Freeman’s ’ only. Trade mark, an Elephant.—Sold every where. Obtainable from all chemists and storekeepers. The magnificent sporting island of Rum, lying off the west coast of Scotland, has just been sold. The extent is 27,000 acres, and. the deer forest is one of the best of its size in Scotland. Other gams is also plentiful. The scenery is extremely grand and wild.
