A S more than one. brand of Hydrauli d-jL-- Lime is being sold in Wellington, and such maker of course claiming his is the best, those interested are requested to give our brand a fair trial, and not to condemn it because other limes may fail. A supply and information on treatment can be had from our agents,' Messrs Peter Hutson and.. Each bag of Wilson’s Lime contains three bushels and a printed slip bears the well-known star brand. And we claim quality (especially at a distance) as the first consideration, and that the real value cau only be gauged by the proportion of sand'or gravel the lime carries. This Lime being a natural cement requires to be treated as ordinary cement, but is as easily worked as qther limes, yet many have condemned it through want of care in using. If used for mortar in wet positions with wet bricks or in any wet place, it should be mixed as required ; but for ordinary work it is better to make it up the day before and ire-mix as used. " If properly treated this Lime answers well for external plastering, and as it sets well in damp or wet places, it can be economically used instead of cement.
