Mr J. B. Connolly, of-the firm of Connolly and Herrmann, photographers, who is about to - leave for Melbourne to join Cowan’s orchestra at the Melbourne Exhibition, has been made the ’‘recipient of a testimonial from the members of the choir of St Mary ol the Angels’ Church, of which he has been conductor for some time past. The Rev Father Kerrigan, who made the presentation at a concert given by the choir iu the IJdarist Brothers’Schoolroom last evening, prior; to the programme being gone ou -with, referred to the cordial relations which had always existed between Mr Connolly and his choir, as well as with all with whom he had come in-contact.
