The Democratic Convention at St Louis has unanimously resolved to renominate President Cleveland for the Presidency. The announcement was received with great enthusiasm. Washington, June 7. The Democrats support Senator John Sherman for the Vice-Presidency. Mr Cleveland was nominated for the Presidency to-day. President Cleveland has been re elected to the Presidency unopposed, amid great enthusiasm. It was thought the Republicans would nominate Senator Stanford, of California They canvassed him, but he declined to stand.
