EEMABKABLE DEATHS. (united press association.) Methven, March 24. Two men named Wilson and Kerr, who have been knocking about the Alford Forest Hotel since the 11th, had a fight the day before yesterday, and were separated by the landlord. Wilson went to bed, where he yras found dead next morning. His mate was arrested, but a post mortem goes to show that death was the result of apoplexy. Dunedin, March 28.
At the inquest on Mrs Elizabeth Keith, -who died suddenly on Saturday, the medical evidence showed that death was caused in a singular manner. Evidence had been given that the woman had gone out and returned rather under the influence of liquor, and had then gone to lie down. Dr Ogston stated that death was oaused by suffocatioa through the breathing of vomit into the longs. She had apparently vomited while asleep, and this caused death.
