THE NELSON IN QUARANTINE.
(united press association.) Auckland, February 8
One case of typhoid fever has occurred on H.M.S. Nelson, which arrived from Russell to-day. The Health Officer has wired to Wellington for instructions. The ship will meanwhile remain iu quarantine. Later. The Health Officer has wired to Wellington advising that the typhoid fever patient on board H.M.S. Nelson, should be removed to the Auckland Hospital this evening, and that the vessel then be admitted to pratique. All the usual precautions against the spread of the fever to be taken.
