NEW ZEALAND LOAN AND MERCANTILE COMPANY’S WOOL SALE.
(united press association.) Christchurch, J anuary 28. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Company held their fifth wool sale of this season to-day, when upward of 1500 bales were submitted, principally station clips of merino, and large lines of scoured wools. There was a good attendance of buyers. Nine hundred and ten bales were sold, including several well-known clips. Prices for good half-bred and merino were firmer, and inferior and scoured unchanged.
