(united press association.) Auckland, December 2. Dr Macgregor, Inspector-General >f Lunatic Asylums, left for the South to-cay. The difficulty at Avondale Asylum has Veen completely settled. Eight female attendants withdrew- their resignations, and the other vacancies have been filled up. Dr Macgregotr believes that matters will now ran smoothly..
