WOOL SALES.

Melbourne, December 1.

Messrs R. Goldsborougk and Co. held their usual weekly sale this afternoon, the rooms being crowded with home and foreign buyers. A catalogue of 4800 bales was offered, for which there was spirited competition', especially for all clear wools whien were free from burr. Earthy and wastv sorts were dull. Good greasy merino sold up to llfd, and good greasy crossbred to Good scoured wool sold up to Is 7-|d, and superior greasy lambs realised Is 2d. London, November 30.

The wool sales opened to-day before a large attendance of Home and foreign buyers. The catalogue comprised 10,100 bales. For greasy merinos, prices ruled £d to Id lower than at the close ot last auctions, and for scoured merinos prices were to 2d lower. The series will close on the 16th December.
