MELBOURNE WOOL SALES.

Melbourne, November 25.
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company held their usual weekly sale this afternoon, and offered an important catalogue, comprising 4SOO bales. The attendance of buyers was large and competition was brisk. The market shows an improvement on last week, and very full values were obtained. Greasy wool sold up to 13id, and scoured, which was in good demand, realized tip to 19|d. The washed fleece of a Western district clip was a feature of the sale, and fetched 16|d.
