OTAGO REFRIGERATING COMPANY.

At the annual meeting of the Refrigerating Company the Chairman, Mr J. Roberts, in moving the adoption of the leport, went over the various items in the balance-sheet. Dealing with the question of freight charges he condemned the Haslam compact. He had received a long report from Messrs Murray and Davidson as to the negotiations which had resulted in Messrs Nelson Bros, being appointed agents. These gentlemen in their report stated that it only required continued good management in the Colony with regard to quality in conjunction with proper and extensive coatrol over the supplies placed in the Home market, to secure better average price to growers.
