LORD SALISBURY SENT FOR.

The resignation of Mr Gladstone and his colleagues has been accepted by the Queen, and Her Majesty has summoned the Marquis of Salisbury to undertake the formation of a new Ministry. London, July 23. It is announced that the Marquis of Salisbury will to-day (Friday) hold a consultation with the leaders of his party" as to the formation of a new Ministry, and to-morrow proceed to Osborne to obey her Majesty’s summons. London, July 24. The Marquis of Salisbury had a conference to-day with the Marquis of Hartington, and subsequently proceeded to Osborne to obey the Queen’s summons. London, July 26. It has transpired that at the interview which took place on Saturday between Lords Salisbury and Hartington the latter promised the support of his party to measures introduced by the Conservatives to deal with the Irish difficulty. It is expected the position of Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs in the new Ministry will be filled by the Earl of Iddealeigb. London, July 27. It is believed that Lord Randolph Churchill will take office in the new Ministry as Chancellor of the Exchequer, and will act as leader of the Conservative party in the House of Commons.
