“ Peep o’ Day ” was repeated at the Theatre on Tuesday by Mr Grattan Riggs and Mr Charles McMahon’s Dramatic Company, to a very good downstairs house. The audience were as well pleased with the performance as on the previous evening. Mr Gattan Riggs delighted the audience with his rich brogue and clever actiug in the character of Barney OToole. The other characters were all successfully performed. Miss Jessie Grey received a well-deserved encore for her Irish jig in the second act. The waterfall scene with its realistic effects agaiu elicted well merited applause. “Patience” was repeated at St Peter’s School-room last Friday night to a very large audience, every seat being occupied by 8 o’clock. The performance was as excellent as ever, and applause and encores were frequent. At the conclusion of the entertainment Mr L-veday, Secretary to the Hospital, Trustees announced that the performance would be repeated next evening, the proceeds to go to the Hospital funds. The third performance of “ Patience ” by the St Peter’s Church Choir, in aid of the Hospital fund 3, came off on Saturday night

in the St Peter’s Church Schoolroom to a numerous and highly appreciative audience. The performance passed off most successfully, the performers acquiting themselves in their usual very creditable manner. The -receipts for the three nights amounted ti £B2, which will be banded over to the treasurer of the Hospital Trustees in due form.
