Judging from the wonderfully beneficial effects which follow the use of Emil Frese’s Hamburg Tea to a great variety of diseases, the belief seems well founded. The occasional use of it will be found to ward off bilious and malarious affections. WHAT A JOURNALIST THINKS ABOUT IT. Messrs W. & G. Turnbull & Co., Wellington, New Zealand, February 14th, 1884. Gentlemen, —I have much pleasure in telling you that your Hamburg Tea has proved very efficacious in relieving me of complaints incidental to a sedentary life. I have given it a fair trial, and have found it to be not only a good regulating medicine, but an excellent tonic. Many of my friends have, I know, tried your Hamburg Tea, with equally favorable results. To those engaged in sedentary pursuits like myself, it will be found to be an invaluable remedy.— Yours truly, Alfred P. Vernon - , Journalist. West-street, Darlinghurst, Sydney. THE SYMPTOMS ENTIRELY DISAPPEARED. Sydney, Feb. 13th, 1884. Dear Sir, —About a month ago I was advised to use your Hamburg Tea for a severe attack of indigestion from which I was suffering. For some time previously I had been afflicted with pains in the liver and stomach, and constant headache and oppression. Since taking the Hamburg Tea these symptoms have entirely disappeared, and I have never since been troubled with them. I have every confidence in recommending it, and have witnessed its use in other cases with like result.—Yours faithfully, James S. Donovan. Referring to the cases of suspected drowning in the Manawatu river, the Times says there is now, unfortunately, no doubt as to the fate of Mr Fitzsimmons, his body having been found in the river near the railway bridge. The body of the lad McKenzie has not yet been recovered. Mr W. J. Scott, of Belfast, Ireland, is now in MastertoD, says the Star, with the object of forming a Land Purchasing Company. The object of the company is to purchase land in New Zealand for special settlement by tenant farmers and small capitalists from the North of Ireland. It is proposed to introduce the settlers as nominated immigrants, and to advance them capital at a moderate rate of interest for the purpose of enabling them to purchase and improve their homesteads. Mr Scott intends to lay the scheme before a meeting which will be called in a few days. In the meantime, intending shareholders can obtain full information from the office of this j ournal.
