THE CHARITABLE AID DIFFICULTY.

(UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Christchurch, October 1

He states that he has frequent applications for admission to the Old Men’s Home, but it is useless for him to recommend admission, as the home is full, acid says, “ I feel sorry and ashamed to tell the destitute deserving poor that nothing can be done for them.” Mr March, reports the home in a most wretched condition, not at all adapted to the purposes for which it is now applied. The Beard resolved to forward the correspondence to the Government.
