THE MAYORAL ELECTIONS.
(united press association.) Wanganui, November 25. The Mayoralty election resulted as follows : —Watt, 141 ; Nathan, 122. It passed off Kumara, November 25.
There was great excitement over the election of Mayor ye’sterday, every vote on the roll being polled. Mr. O’ Hagan was returned by a large majority, beating Messrs. Campbell and Blake. , Westport, November 25. Mr. John Munro was elected Mayor. Gisborne, November 25. Mr. Porter was elected Mayor of Gisborne yesterday, after a close contest with W. I. Crawford. v ok Timaru, November 25. Mr. John Manchester was re-elected Mayor of Waimate to-day. , or Dunedin, November 25. Vincent Pvke was re-elected chairman of Vincpst Couqty Council without opposition,
