It has not often been our privilege to direct the attention of the inhabitants of this Province to certain advantages which must tend to add to the comforts of life, with but small pecuniary outlay. In the case to which wo refer the old adage of "cheap and nasty" does not in the least apply. Our remarks will be fully verified by those who pay an early visit to the Great Sale of Drapery and Clothing now going on at Te Aro 1 louse, Cuba-street, Wellington. Mr. James Smith, the enterprising proprietor, has determined to make this Sale one of the most remarkable ever held in Wellington, and we are convinced that the reductions he proposes to make will be carried out to the very letter. K.xtraordinary bargains may now be obtained. \ "lance at the list of prices on the last page "of this paper will be suibcient to convince the most sceptical, especially when it is guaranteed that all the goods named are at tlusuate in Stock, and may be purchased for the prices emoted We may also add that this Extraordinary Sale is only intended to continue for fourteen, days, and therefore we should advise our readers, both in town and country, to "take time by the forelock.'
