P. Wood stated that Dr Collis Browne was undoubtedly the inventor of CHLORODYNE : that the story of the Defendant, Freeman, being the inventor was deliberately untrue, which he regretted had been sworn to. Eminent Hospital Physicians of London stated that Dr J. Collis Browne was the discoverer of Chlorodyne ; that they prescribe it largely, and mean no other than Dr Browne's.—See "Times," July 12,1864. The Public, therefore, are cautioned against using any other than DR. J. COLLIS BROWNE'S CHLORODYNE. REMEDIAL USES AND ACTION. To it fairly owe my restoration to health, after 18 months suffering, and when other remedies had failed. Dr Lowe, Medical Missionary in India reports (Dec 1865) that in nearly every case of Cholera in which Dr J. Collis Browne's Chlorodyne was administered, the patient recovered ._ Extract from "Medical Times," Jan. 12 1860. " Chlorodyne is prescribed by scores of orthodox medical practitioners.
