RETURN OF TROOPS
TRAINS ARRIVE TODAY SPECIAL TRAMS RUNNING Auckland and North Auckland members of the draft of Second Division soldiers which arrived at Wellington yesterday in the liner Strathaird, after disembarking South Islanders at Lyttelton, are due to reach the city this morning bv two special trains. The first is expected at 6.30 ami the second at 7.51, but both are subject to delay caused at intermediate stations where men for other parts of thfi province will The Auckland Transport Board has arranged for a special tram to run from every suburban terminus in time to allow next-of-kin and other relatives to reach the railway station before the first train. Tram way men volunteered to man these cars. Times at which the trams will leave the termini are:—Onehunga, 5.40; Avondale, Point Chevalier, Ovrairaka, 5.50; Three Kings, Meadowbank, Great South Road. Mount Roskill, 5.55; Westmere. Richmond Road. Three Lamps. 6. After these times, the trams will follow their normal schedule.
