Dunedin, is pitying a final dividend of 1% per cent, payable Seplember 20, and making 3'i per cent for the year ended July 31, compared with (i [>er cent in 1044. DECLINE IN SALES TAX Sales tax collected during the six months ended Juno 30 was £0,550,558, a decrease of £70,470 below the total of the first six months of 1044, but an increase of £789,700 as compared with a similar period of 1913.
