Acting on instructions from the Controller, the Board has taken measures to reduce its loading on the Government system. These provide lor the total prohibition of certain classes of supply and restrictions in wage of others. Full details have been published in the local press. Should these measures not produce the required reduction, or in the event of emergency, areas will have to be totally discon-1 ceded from the supply.

The following is a list of the areas, their approximate boundaries and their distinguishing Numbers: — I—BERNE1 —BERNE BAY AREA: The whole of Heme Bay area and that section of Ponsonb.v lying approximately west of the line; Ponsonby Road and New Street and north of Norfolk Street and Richmond Road. Also a section of Westmere between Nottingham Street and the Harbour. £—MT. ALBERT-SANDRINGHAM AND MT. ROSKILL AREAS: That section of Mt. Albert - Sandringham and Mt. Roskill bounded approximately by Richardson, New Windsor, New North, St. Luke's and Balmoral Roads, and then in a line through the Three Kings to Hillsborough Road. 8— PT. CHEVALIER AREA: The whole of Pt. Chevalier district north of Gt. North Road. 4 AVONDALE ■BLOCKHOUSE BAT & HILLSBOROUGH AREAS: The whole of Avondale-Biockhouse Bay and Hillsborough, and the area south of Oakley Creek. ft—KINGSLAND-SANDRINGHAM AREA: That portion of Kingsland and Sandringham bounded by Sandringham Road. Balmoral Road, Dominion Road and New North Road. 6—MT. EDEN AREA: That portion of Mt. Eden bounded by Balmoral Road, St. Andrew's Road, Mt. Albert Road, Dominion Road. I—ORAKEI-REMUERA1 —ORAKEI-REMUERA AREA: The whole of the area bounded by Lucerne Road, Remuera Road. Orakei Road, Shore Road and Portland Road. &—ORAKEI AREA: The whole of the area west of Patteson Avenue to Waterfront. © —REMUERA AREA: That portion of Remuera hounded by Green Lane East, Gt. South Road. Omahn Road. Upland Road. Victoria Avenue and Remuera Road to Green Lane East 30—ST. HELIERS BAY AREA:' The whom of St. Heliers Bay. east of Kohimarama Road and bounded by the Waterfront, Tamaki River and Pt. England Road. 11— MT. EDEN AREA: The whole of the area south of Grange Boad to Landscape Road between Mt. Eden Road and Dominion Road: also the western end of Epsom Avenue. 12 —GREY LYNN AREA: Area south of Williamson Avenue and bounded by Ponsonby Road, Newton and Archhill Gully. 18—ONEHUNGA AREA: The whole of the area south of Mt. Albert Road to Waterfront, and between Queen Street and Norman's Hill Road. 14—ONE TREE HILL AREA: The whole of the area south of Campbell Road to Ngatiawa Street, between Mt. Smart Road and Great South Road. 15—MISSION BAY AREA: The whole of Mission Bay and portion of Remuera north of Remuera Road, east of Upland Road. 16— EPSOM - ROYAL OAK AREA: That portion of Epsom near Greenwood's Corner and area around Royal Oak. Disconnection (when necessary) will be carried out in the following order: — FOR WEEK ENDING SUNDAY. JUNE 3. 1915: from Areas 1, 3, 11 .. 4.00 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. Areas 2, 13. 14 .. 4.30 p.m. to 5.00 p.m. Areas 4. 5, 6, 12 .. 5.00 p.m. to 5.80 p.m. Areas 7, 8, 9 .. 5.30 p.m. to 6.00 p.m. Areas 10. 15, 16 .. 6.00 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. This sequence will be varied weekly and the order will appear in the local press on Monday of each week. The above procedure is designed to give advance information., and consumers should note their Supply Area and particularly its Number. In future notices Supply Areas will be described by Number only.
