BIG THREE MEETING

WILL TAKE PLACE SOON MR ATTLEE MAY ATTEND LONDON, May 29 Mr Churchill, in the House of Commons; replied affirmatively in a written answer to a questioner who asked whether he contemplates an early meeting with President Truman and Marshal Stalin.

It was suggested in political circles last night that, if Mr Churchill attends a conference with Mr Truman ami Marshal Stalin before the general election results are known, he will probably invite the Leader of the Labour Party, Mr C. R. Attlee, to accompany him. The object would be to ensure that whatever Government wa,s returned Russia and America would be assured of some continuity of British policy and representation.

The question whether or not to accept the invitation would rest with Mr Attlee, who doubtless would seek the opinion of the Parliamentary Labour Party.
