ONK BH AND OK SOAP ONK BK AND OF SHOES Kverv householder desires the right mid privilege of being able to choose ironi a variety of goods or merchandise. This privilege belongs to all, under peacetime conditions, in this Dominion, lint such a privilege is something to tie suppressed when the Trades Hall Dictators get a hit further along with their programme of State socialism. The socialists have a horror of competition in business, of variety in tnantifafture, and freedom of choice. The writing on the wall is plain for all to see. Every month or two the Socialist Dictators try to get a tighter grip on the liberties of the private citizen and the business man, and the determination of the Government to take over the Hank of New Zealand is just one more step in the process. When the State can say to the public, "Now you must bank with the State Bank whether you want to or not." they will also be in a position to say, "Buy what we tell you to buy'' or "Think what we tell you to think." It is all happening here and now. and New Zealanders should sit up and take notice —and take action. With political hanking control, and a Labour newspaper spouting their pro paganda day by day. the State Social ists who sit in the seats of the might\ will have the power to fulfil theii dream of commonplace monotony and uniformity for everybody—except them >elves. New Zralanders should rehc 1 against any further encroachments upoe their liberty—the freedom for which tin sons of New Zealand have been fight ing for over five years.—Advt.
