AUCKLAND EXCHANGE

A SUBSTANTIAL TURNOVER Solid trading marked the innovation yesterday of -the Auckland Stock Exchange's new system of announcing daily turnover. The business in Government loans for the day totalled £14,350, face value, while the number of shares dealt in was 5246. Business was particularly active at the final call, when some substantial parcels of Government loans were transferred, leaving the market for some issues slightly easier.
