HEALTH QUIZ. WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A COLD AND A CHILL? Some folk say they have caught a chill when they have caught a coJd and vice versa. A "cold" is caused by germs. The confusion arises because infection frequently takes place after exposure when a chill has lowered the resistance. The real cause of the cold, however, is infection from other people. A chill is the result of exposure of part or all of the body. The skin, after all, is an organ of the body, and if it is upset other organs become upset and trouble will, probably develop in some weak spot, sometimes the chest, sometimes the stomach, and frequently the nose or throat. One thing worth remembering is, when colds or chills attack, you can find quick relief from Baxters Lung Preserver. "Baxters" is New Zealand's proved most popular remedy for many generations.
