TE RAPA GALLOPS RINGLIGHT PERFORMS WELL iO.C.) HAMILTON, Tuesday Good efforts over six furlongs by Neenah. Fortune's Smile, Bramble Song. Hunting Camp, Ringlight and Cheval de Bataille and a smart half-mile by Powys were features of the gallops at Te Rapa this morning. The inside grass, where the poles were out 15ft. was used for galloping and the going was good. Sleepy Fox gave Monte Cristo a break of three lengths and heat him by half a length in 50s. Sleepy Fox is looking and doing well. Coronaire and Lord Chancellor placed six furlonss behind in 1.18. Coronaire has improved as a result of his recent racing and is considered to have good prospects in the New Zealand Derby, which is to be Ton at Riccarton on November 25. P.ALMERSTON NORTH, Tuesday Horses with engagements at the Levin meeting on Saturday and at the New Zealand Cup meeting the following week attracted interest at Awapuni this morning, when there were a number of smart trials.
