NOTICE OF SPECIAL ORDER. ; Notice is Hereby Given that at a Meeting of the Franklin Electric-Power Board, held on Tuesday, September '2O, 11)14 a resolution proposing to raise a Loan by Special Order whs passed and will be submitted for confirmation at a Meeting of the Board to be held on Tuesday, October 24. 1044, at 2 pin , in the Board's Office. King Street, Pukckohe, The purpose for which the Loan la required Is for llie supply and distribution of electrical energy for~.the benefit of the constituent districts of Franklin County, Part Raglan County. Pukekohe Borough. Waiuku Town and Tuakau Town, comprising the Franklin Electric-Power District. The sum proposed to be borrowed Is twentyfive thousand pounds (£25,000) in sucb instalments as may be required. The proposed security for the payment of interest and other charges on the said loan is a special rate of eleven two-hundredths of a penny in the found (11/200 d in the £) on the Rateable value (on the basis of the Capital Value) of all rateable property in the Franklin Electric-Power District. The proposed term of the said Loan or any part thereof is Twenty (20) years. Ihe rate of interest in respect of the said Loan or any part thereof shall not produce to the lender or lenders a rate exceeding three pounds ten shillings (£3 10/-) per cent per annum. Before raising the said ioan or any part thereof the Board shall make provision for the repayment thereof, by establishing a sinking fund, calculated on the amount to be,raised, of not Jess than three pounds ten shil ings (£3 10/-) per cent per annnm, extending over the term of Twenty (20) years. No amount payable as either interest or sinking fnnd in respect of the said Loan shall be paid out of loan money. The rate payable for brokerage, underwriting and procuration fees in respect of the raising of the said Loan or any part thereof shall not in the aggregate exceed one-half per centum of any amount raised. The payment of interest and repayment of principal in respect of the said Loan shall be made in New 2ealar.d. Pursuant to Sectirm 16. Paragraph 2. of the "Finance Act, 11/30 (No. 2)." the Board proposes to raise the Loan by Special Order ?, lU m Notice Hereby Given that a Poll of Ratepayers is required if not less than five per centum of the ratepayers of the Franklin Electric-Power District so demand by writing under their hands delivered or sent by post to the Board before the date fixed for confirmation of the resolution proposing to raise the Loan by Special Order.
