AUCKLAND EXCHANGE WEAKER TONE OF MARKET Tlio weaker trend noticeable at tho end of last week was again in evidence when tlie Auckland Stock Exchange resumed business yesterday. In a moderate turnover a number of vendors made concessions. Further declines occurred in New Zealand insurance and South British shares, and Bank of New Zealands eased further with a transfer at •15s (id. In miscellaneous sections inquiries were less keen. Tlio only induS-1 trial to show improvement was Wilsons Cement, which made a further recovery with business at Ills 4d. Government stocks were quiet.

GRAIN AND PRODUCE The following is the official wholesale market, report of the Auckland Grain, Seed and L'rndure Merchants' Association: — Wheat. —Ample stocks ;i re tick! in store and are selling at 7s Id to 7s tid. A quantity will also be available ex wharf nt the special cash with order prices. Maize.—-Prices, which are only nominal, remain at Ss to Ss 3d a bushel for whole and fcs 3d to Ss Gd for kibbled. Oats.—The demand continues steady, with B (lartons selling at 7s 3d to 7s Gd a bushel. Chaff.—Fair stocks are available, although somewhat limited by Inck of shipping space. Prices for G. 8.0.5. remain at .til His to ,Cl 5 lOs a ton. Barley.—Merchants are holding fair stocks in store with clipped selling ;it 6s 2d to 6s Gd a bushel and undipped at 5s 3d to 5s Gd. There is no advice of any further shipments from overseas. Barleymcal,—Limited supplies are available through store at .til to ,C'l2 10s a ton. Stockmeal.—The demand is being met through store at from til 2s 3d to £'ll 17s Gd a. ton. There is no information as to when the next shipment is coming. DAIRY PRODUCTION (0.C.) TK PUKE. Monday An output of 2818 tons of butter, 56 tons less than the previous season, is shown in th<* returns of trio Hay of Plenty Co-operative Dairy Association, Ltd., To Puke. The [layout to suppliers for the season was £314,755, representing an average payment over all grades of l !.514d. In addition tit this there will be a deferred payment of 1!.27d per lb, which, with dividend on shares, cream cartage, and stock supervision, will make a total average of 17.202 d over all grades of butterfat. This does not include the farm costs allowance of .767(1. For the past season the averago grade of the butt-cr manufactured was 93.200, against 92.SOSfor the previous season WELLINGTON WOOLLEN CO. The accounts of *lhe Wellington Woollen Manufacturing Company for the year ended June 30 show a net profit of £30,1G7, compared with .C:t2,430 last year and £31.004 in 1012. The directors proposo a final dividend of 'i per cent, plus a bonus of 3 per cent, on ordinary and preference shares, making 8 per cent for the year (unchanged). Tho total dividend requires £24,000. It is proposed to transfer 1:10,500 to reserve, which will then stand at £'97,500. Gross profit at ,0 78,057 compares with £173,007 last year. DIVIDENDS DECLARED Radio (193G), Ltd.—The directors recommend a dividend of Od a share (unchanged); payable on August 28; books close on August 21.
