Keeping Violets in Water Dear Anne Shirley.—We have such a number of violets out. They look lovely, peeping no timidly from under the leaves. They have such a sweet scent, too. Do you know that when yon have picked violets they will last much longer if you sprinkle theiri well with •water everv night and morning? We had a bowlful last 11 days that way. Many Pets Dear Anno Shirley,—l have a cat and iv kitten which were wild when I first got them, j The cat's name is Toby and the kitten 5 name is Felix. Felix is very playful, but Toby is lat and lazy. Toby is a year and [seven months and Felix is about a year old. Toby was found behind some boxes in the car shed and Felix was caught in the yard.
