President \ NZAC DAY COMMEMORATION AUSTRALIAN IMPERIAL FORCE EX-SERVICEMEN'S ASSOCIATION With the Co-operation of AUCKLAND RETURNED SERVICES ASSOCIATION (INC.). ANZAC DAY DAWN CEREMONY. APRIL 25, 1944. Following are the orders for the morning:— KEY MEN meet at Kiosk. Auckland Domain, at 3.30 a.m All Returned Servicemen and Si-vicewomen of any War are invited to parade. Troops will fail in at Tea Kiosk. Auckland Domain, at 5 a.m. Gallipoli men fall in oil front markers, remainder on rear markers The Parade will march off at 5.15 a.m. ; sharp, led by Major-General P. H. Bell. Nursing Listers and Ex-Servicewomen report to 0.1.C. on steps below Cenotaph at 5.10 a.m sharp. Dress: Mufti, medals and decorations to be worn, except in the case of serving men TRAFFIC ARR ANG EM EN TS i'ram Service.—Trams will leave outside Termini at the following times: —Meadowbank. Westmere. Richmond ltd.. Heme Bay and Three Lamps, 4.35 a.m.; Great South_ Rd., 4.40 a.m.; Onehunga, 4.20 a.m.; Three Kings, Mt. Roskill. Owairaka. 4.30 a.m.; Avondale, Point Chevalier, 1.25 a.m.: Foot, of Queen Street. 1.15 a.m Ferry Service. —Leave Devonport 4.10 a.m., calling at Bayswater 4.20 a.m. A Launch will leave Birkenhead at 4.20 a.m. and Northcote at 1.25 a.m. These will connect with tram outside C.P 0. at 4.45 a.m. Return ferry to Devonport will leave Auckland at 6.30 a.m. Launches will leave the Auckland Launch Steps for Bayswater, Northcote and Birkenhead leaving Auckland at 6.30 a.m. Bus Transport Services. —Buses will run by arrangement from ail bus terminals. To ensure an adequate service would passengers intending to use this service olease communicate with Bus Proprietors Tea Kiosk. —The Domain Tea Iviosk will he open from 4 a.m. until after the Ceremony, when tea. coffee and biscuits will be available. Parking Areas —Car-owners are asked to note that a special area will be set aside on the football ground between the Museum and the Glass Winter Gardens. Only limited space will be available behind the Museum. Broadcasting.—The Service will be broadcast by Station IZB. The usual Anzac Day Parade and Commemoration Service will be held on April 25. Gardner Brown, Second N.Z.E.F. Chairman: His Worship the M ayor, S. Evans. Esq. Should Ihe weather prohibit an outdoor gathering the service will be held in the Siar Theatre.
