AUCKLAND EXCHANGE PRICES STILL "ADVANCING Brokers on the Auckland Stock Exchange recorded further heavy trading yesterday, and -with sellers practically in charge of the market values continued at a high level. Bank of Sew Zealand led the way with a'transfer 3d up at 445, the highest price paid since 1938. Other shares which advanced to the peak figures of recent years were Bycroft at 54s 3d, McKenzies at 555, and New Zealand Newspapers at 42s 3d. Brewery shares were keenly sought at higher quotations. Government issues were in request at late rates, with a rise of 7s 6d in the second Liberty Loan, 3 per cent.
