WEDDING BROOKS SMITH—MAKGILL J be wedding took place at St. Mary's Cathedral yesterday, of Miss Hoes M.akgilt, youngest daughter of Mrs. David Makgi]], of Great South Road, Green Lane, and Lieutenant (j.g.) Ansel Brooks Smith, jun., United States Coast Guard, only son of Dr. and Mrs. Brooks Smith, of Michigan. Dean Fancourt officiated. '1 be bride, who was given away by her brother, Mr. John P. Makgill, wore a simple salmon pink frock with short sleeves and a hand-faggotted and pintucked bodice. Her powder-blue felt hat was worn with a veil and she carried a blue handbag covered with red roses and blue delphiniums. Her bridesmaid was Miss Joan Dutliie, who wore a delft blue Iroek, the bodice of which was ornamented with drawn-thread work. Her natural straw hat was bound with blue ribbon and her blue handbag was covered with pink and blue flowers.
