WESTFIELD SALES LARGE YARDING OF BEEF There was a large yarding of beef at the West field fat slock sales yesterday. The demand waft steady, and values were on a par with last week's sale.s. There was a larger penning of sheep and values eased. Values for all classes of calves, of which there was a full yarding, were lower. In the pig section there was a keen demand for a small entry of fats. lighter pigs improving in price. Haconers sold steadily at late rates, and stores improved considerably. Values were unchanged for veal. A short yarding of all classes of pigs came forward, haconers and porkers remaining firm at recent late rates. Store and wcaner pigs were very dull of sale.
