IDLE AND DISORDERLY Five Maori girls, who were remanded for sentence when they admitted charges of being idle and disorderly, appeared before Mr. ,T. Morling, S.M., yesterday, after having been medically examined. Senior-Sergeant Barley said all the girls had a clean bill of health. Four of the girls. Nellie Walters, factory hand, aged 20. Joan IReti, waitress., aged 18. Nfita Barrett, domestic, aged 20, and Dawn Gladys Robb, waitress, aged 20, were placed on probation for two years. The fifth girl, Sophie King, factory hand, aged 20. was placed on probation for two years and ordeifed to spend the first three months in a Salvation Army home. The girls were warned about their behaviour in future.
