CRASH INTO THE SEA
PILOT-OFFICER DROWNED TWO OTHER AIRMEN HURT (P.A.) WELLINGTON, Friday . When an aircraft of the Royal New Zealand Air Force was engaged in night flying from a North Island air station it' crashed into the sea at 8.-30 p.m. on Thursday. One member of the crew was drowned. He was Pilot-Officer Norris Mclntyre Bee, of Wairoa. The other two occupants. Sergeant Derek Aylnier Leslie, soil of Mrs. Leslie, of Gisborne, and Aircraltman Alfred Norman Larkman, of Wanganui, received injuries classified as not serious.
