Announcement to Apple Retailers!!! Retailers of apples in Auckland and Poverty Bay districts will be interested in an announcement by the Internal Marketing Division in regard to the distribution and sale from the Division, in conjunction with retailers' apple sales, of CAHItlEit II AGS Designed to enable the public to conveniently carry to their homes apples in quantities of 101b. or 201b., these CARRIER BAGS are made of stout, brown paper, reinforced top and bottom, with handy string grip, and will obviate the necessity for retailers to supply paper bags to his customers. The CARRIER BAGS are available to Retailers on condition they are sold at cost price to the public—4d for large bag and 3d for smaller size. Supplies are at present restricted and meanwhile orders are limited to two bags per bushel turnover, the retailer's wholesale merchant certifying to anticipated turnover during March, April or May. Sales are in Bale lots only—6oo to bale in 101b. size and 400 to bale in 201b. size. Price 9 £7/10/- and £6/13/4 respectively, cash with order.
