Schoolboys' Gala.—Schoolboys who play League football took part in a sports meeting at Carlaw Park on Saturday afternoon. A match between A and B junior teams resulted in a win for the former by S points to 3. Music was provided by the Otahuhu Workshops Band. Results of events were:—Seven-a-side teams. 50yds: A. Combined Meeting.—Several churches held a combined athletic meeting on the Mount Albert mountain green on Saturday, over 150 hoys taking part. Mr. H. L. Tower 9 was starter, and at the conclusion of the meeting Mr. H. Anderson. Mayor of Mount Albert, presented the trophies to the successful teams. The results were:—Senior cup: St. Luke's, 1; Mount Albert Presbyterian, 2; Mount Albert Baptist, and Kingsland Methodist, 3.
